We are seeking two production chef’s for our Moorabbin site.
Responsibilities:
• Required hours 7am -3pm, or 8am -4pm
• Assist with checking delivery of produce
• Check production board of daily tasks
• Assist to set up preparation areas with mise en place in order for other production chef’s to commence on arrival
• Must strictly comply with the recipe and specified ingredients
• Ensure that all procedures are followed and that best practice is applied at all times. Food handling, packaging and evening cooling are accurately monitored at Lucas catering branch. This is part of HACCP compliance and must be adhered to at all times.
• Comply with OHS and facility requirements.
• Ensure the kitchen is packed down, cleaned on a timely manner
- Ensure all food is stored correctly in particular attention to the master stocks and its appropriate cooling down process.
• Assist with ordering process for the next day.
The successful candidate will possess:
• Previous kitchen hand experience (2 years) would be highly regarded.
• Hard working and reliable
• Communicate within the production crew
• Ability to work autonomously as well as be a team player.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
