Administrative Assistant in MOORABBIN, Victoria

A successful consultant organisation is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual to be a part of their friendly team. Based in Moorabbin, this is a part-time casual position (8+ hours per week) which could potentially lead to a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm).
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support and will liaise with the Project Administrator and report to the Managing Director/Project Manager.
Main duties include:
Answering and transferring telephone calls
Entering information into the in-house database
Checking and editing important documentation
Maintaining office files and filing systems
Multi-tasking between different projects
Liaising with the project administrator
Providing assistance to the Managing Director
General office administration
To be successful in this role the candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
• An Australian permanent resident or citizen
• Fluent in spoken English
• Experience working in an administerial role
• Good multi-tasking skills
• Computer literate
• Good knowledge of administrative procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and fluctuations in workflow
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Willing and able to learn new systems
• Sets and maintains high standards and is consistent in producing high quality accurate work
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and manage sensitive information
